Koh Samui Super Strain Magic Mushrooms (Psilocybe Cubensis, KSSS), is a popular and classic strain from the beautiful island of Koh Samui. The strain was discovered by Enthomycologist John Allen from his travels through Thailand in 1991. You may have heard of the Koh Samui Strain, the Super Strain listed here is a more domesticated version of the Koh Samui strain which is known for larger flushes, more contamination resistance and larger fruits.
The Koh Samui Super Strain Shrooms is one that partiers consume at the infamous Full Moon Parties in Koh Phangan and is commonly found all over Thailand. Although illegal in Thailand, magic mushrooms are quite common on the tourist trail in Thailand. In the wild, the Koh Samui Super Strain is easily recognized by its large, nearly flat caps, thick stems, and densely clustered structure. The “super” name is in reference to the strain’s potent properties found in wild-growing, mature forms of the fungus. It can often be found growing in rice fields that are worked with cattle, as this specific psilocybe cubensis strain prefers to thrive in the environment found in cow dung.
